Choosing the right platform for your website depends on what you're aiming for. We offer options like Wordpress with Elementor, Wix, Shopify, or Showit, each tailored to meet different needs. For dispensaries venturing into online sales, Wordpress and Wix are fantastic choices – they're easy to use, highly customizable, and budget-friendly. Plus, they seamlessly integrate with third-party cannabis menus for smooth POS syncing. If you're focusing on selling cannabis accessories or hemp products with low T concentration, Shopify's your best bet. And if you don't need ecommerce functionality, Showit provides a user-friendly solution.
What do I need to provide?
You'll need to provide the written copy and professional photography that will be displayed on your site. You will be required to pay for additional plugins used throughout CMS. Throughout the project, I'll ask you to provide feedback on the design concepts that I present to you.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely! If paying the full amount upfront isn't feasible for you, I offer a payment plan to ease the investment process. It works like this: I'll need a non-refundable 25% deposit upfront to secure your spot, then the remaining payments are spread out over the course of our project. The next 50% is due after we complete the homepage, and the final 25% is required before I connect your domain. This way, you can manage payments in a way that suits your budget.
Where will my website be hosted?
Wix and Shopify operate on a self-hosted model, hence the subscription plans they offer. On the other hand, Wordpress and Showit necessitate external hosting. For hosting, I typically recommend WP Engine.
How do you handle website compliance in the cannabis industry?
In the ever-evolving landscape of cannabis laws and regulations, it's essential to keep your website compliant. While I ensure your website meets essential requirements like age verification, it's important to note that I do not provide legal counsel. I highly recommend consulting with legal counsel to ensure your online presence aligns with current requirements. I can certainly provide recommendations for reputable legal teams experienced in navigating the complexities of the cannabis industry.
WILL I BE ABLE TO EASILY UPDATE MY SITE AFTER LAUNCH OR WILL I NEED TO RE HIRE YOU?
I'll offer comprehensive website training to ensure you feel comfortable managing and updating your site independently. However, if you prefer to maintain the integrity of your design and would like ongoing support, I'm more than happy to assist. I offer one month of website maintenance for free. After that, I offer assistance at a day rate whenever needed.
