During this call I want to make sure I understand my clients overall website goals and timeline. We'll chat about your inquiry form and dive deeper into your business details so that I can create an accurate proposal.
3 PROPOSAL SEND OFF

After the discovery call, I will need 24-48 hours to create a proposal. I have a minimum and maximum price to determine my overall cost. The proposal breaks down package offers, start date and payment plan. I give clients a link to schedule a call with further questions.
Once the proposal is chosen, I'll send you a contract, an invoice, and a branding questionnaire. You'll also be added to my client portal with a task board displaying due dates.

We will dive into the essence of your business and find the key points: your values, brand voice, your target audience, what your mission is, and your goals and vision for the future. I'll create 2 mood boards for you to choose from, that will capture the atmosphere, colors, and font pairings for your site.
Now it's time to make magic happen! I will take the mood board of your choice and create 2 homepage designs so you can pick a direction that matches your vision best. These homepage mockups are delivered through Figma and I will send a video walkthrough to explain my design choices.

Once the homepage gets the green light, I'll design the rest of the site in Figma. You’ll send me your feedback and I’ll make two rounds of revisions per page.
Once I have the final mockup of your website, I begin to develop the website! This phase typically takes about 2 weeks. All depends on the type of website (e-commerce takes longer). After development, I test all buttons and confirm it is functional before sending to client.

For dispensaries venturing into online sales, Wordpress and Wix are fantastic choices – they're easy to use, highly customizable, and budget-friendly. Plus, they seamlessly integrate with third-party cannabis menus for smooth POS syncing. If you're focusing on selling cannabis accessories or hemp products with low T concentration, Shopify's your best bet. And if you don't need ecommerce functionality, Showit provides a user-friendly solution.
What do I need to provide?
You'll need to provide the written copy and professional photography that will be displayed on your site. You will be required to pay for additional plugins used throughout CMS. Throughout the project, I'll ask you to provide feedback on the design concepts that I present to you.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely! If paying the full amount upfront isn't feasible for you, I offer a payment plan to ease the investment process. It works like this: I'll need a non-refundable 25% deposit upfront to secure your spot, then the remaining payments are spread out over the course of our project. The next 50% is due after we complete the homepage, and the final 25% is required before I connect your domain. This way, you can manage payments in a way that suits your budget.
How do you handle website compliance in the cannabis industry?
In the ever-evolving landscape of cannabis laws and regulations, it's essential to keep your website compliant. While I ensure your website meets essential requirements like age verification, it's important to note that I do not provide legal counsel. I highly recommend consulting with legal counsel to ensure your online presence aligns with current requirements. I can certainly provide recommendations for reputable legal teams experienced in navigating the complexities of the cannabis industry.
Will I be able to easily update my site after launch or will I need to rehire you?
I'll offer comprehensive website training to ensure you feel comfortable managing and updating your site independently. However, if you prefer to maintain the integrity of your design and would like ongoing support, I'm more than happy to assist. I offer one month of website maintenance for free. After that, I offer assistance at a day rate whenever needed.
